How orders are fulfilled and delivered between sellers and buyers on Nexra.
Last updated: 7 August 2026 · NEXRA GLOBAL TEAM LIMITED
1. Fulfilment Model
Nexra is a campus marketplace platform. We do not operate a fulfilment centre or hold physical inventory. All products are sold and shipped directly by individual verified sellers to buyers.
Nexra facilitates payment and connects buyers with sellers. Physical delivery is arranged and executed solely by the seller.
2. Delivery Options
Nexra currently supports two delivery methods, set by the seller on each product listing:
-
Campus Meetup (Free): The seller contacts the buyer to arrange a convenient time and location on or around campus. There is no delivery fee for this option. You may add items from multiple sellers and each will arrange meetup separately.
-
Home Delivery (₦300 per seller): The seller delivers the item to the address provided by the buyer at checkout. A flat ₦300 delivery fee applies per seller. Home delivery is only available when all items in your cart are from sellers who have this option enabled on their listing.
Home delivery is only available if the seller has enabled it on that specific product listing. Check the product page before placing your order.
3. Seller Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for:
- Sending an order update message promptly after an order is placed to inform the buyer of availability and arrange meetup or delivery details (up to 3 messages per order).
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during delivery.
- Delivering items within the delivery timeframe stated on the product listing.
- Communicating proactively with the buyer if there is a delay.
- Providing evidence of delivery if requested during a dispute.
Sellers who fail to fulfil orders without reasonable cause may have their accounts suspended and wallet balances withheld pending investigation.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Sellers specify their expected delivery window on each listing. As a general guide:
- Same-day: Available for select sellers where stated on the listing.
- Standard (1–3 days): Most campus meetup and home delivery orders within Sagamu/OOU area.
- Extended (up to 7 days): Custom orders or items sourced off-campus.
Nexra does not guarantee any specific delivery date. Timeframes are estimates provided by sellers. Buyers may raise a dispute after 20 days from the order date if their item has not been delivered.
5. Delivery Confirmation
Once a buyer has received, inspected, and is satisfied with their order, they must confirm delivery on Nexra. This:
- Releases the funds from Nexra to the seller's internal wallet.
- Marks the order as complete.
- Closes the dispute window for that order.
Only confirm delivery after you have physically received and inspected your item. Once delivery is confirmed, the order is complete and funds are released to the seller. This action cannot be reversed.
Registered users confirm via My Orders → Order Detail → Confirm Delivery. Guest buyers confirm via the Track My Order page using their email and payment reference.
6. Failed or Late Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the seller's stated delivery window:
- Wait for a seller update message — sellers can send up to 3 order update messages to keep you informed.
- If your item still has not been delivered, the dispute option becomes available 20 days after your order date, as long as you have not confirmed delivery.
- Do not confirm delivery until the matter is resolved.
If a dispute is raised, payment will not be released until the dispute has been reviewed and resolved. You will never be forced to confirm delivery and release funds while a dispute is active.
