Acceptable Use Policy
Rules governing how buyers, sellers, and visitors may use the Nexra platform.
Last updated: 7 August 2026 · NEXRA GLOBAL TEAM LIMITED
1. Who This Applies To
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every person who accesses or uses Nexra — including registered buyers, sellers, guests, event attendees, and visitors — whether through our website or mobile application.
By using Nexra in any capacity — including guest checkout — you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use Nexra to:
- Browse, list, and purchase goods and services offered by verified student sellers.
- Checkout as a guest without creating an account.
- Host or attend campus events via the SWYFT ticketing feature.
- Request student services such as printing, graphic design, photography, tutoring, and more.
- Send order update messages to buyers as a seller (up to 3 messages per marketplace order) to inform them of product availability or delivery status.
- Communicate with service providers or clients through the in-app chat system available in the Services section.
- Manage your seller wallet and request withdrawals to your personal bank account.
- Raise disputes through the official dispute process, available 20 days after your order is placed, provided you have not confirmed delivery.
- Earn referral rewards by inviting friends to the platform.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use Nexra to:
- List, sell, or purchase counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal goods.
- Conduct transactions outside the Nexra platform to bypass the payment system, fees, or buyer protections.
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated product listings, reviews, or account information.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user through order messages, the Services chat, or any other channel.
- Raise disputes in bad faith or submit fabricated evidence during a dispute.
- Attempt to access another user's account without authorisation.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, spam, or manipulate the platform.
- Engage in money laundering, fraud, or any activity that violates Nigerian law.
- Impersonate Nexra staff, other users, or any institution.
- Confirm delivery of an order you have not physically received, in order to defraud a seller.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, wallet freezes, and where applicable, reporting to relevant Nigerian authorities.
4. Listing Standards
All product and service listings on Nexra must:
- Accurately describe the item, including condition, quantity, and price.
- Include clear photographs that genuinely represent the actual product being sold.
- Specify delivery options accurately — campus meetup (free) and/or home delivery (₦300 per seller) where applicable.
- Comply with all applicable Nigerian consumer protection laws.
Prohibited listing categories include but are not limited to: drugs, weapons, adult content, counterfeit goods, and stolen items. Nexra reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these standards without prior notice.
5. Payment Rules
All transactions on Nexra are processed through Paystack. Nexra holds buyer payments in its Paystack balance until the buyer confirms delivery. Sellers receive payment only after confirmed delivery.
The minimum order value on Nexra is ₦1,000. Orders below this amount cannot be processed.
Nexra currently charges 0% commission on seller earnings and 0% buyer fees. You pay exactly what is listed, plus delivery charges where applicable. This may change in future and will be communicated in advance.
Buyers must not initiate bank chargebacks without first attempting resolution through Nexra's dispute process. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and legal action.
Sellers must provide accurate bank account details when registering. Nexra is not responsible for failed payouts resulting from incorrect information provided by the seller.
Refunds
If a dispute is upheld by admin:
- Buyers receive their refund as wallet credit, which can be used toward future purchases on Nexra. Buyers who prefer a direct bank refund may contact nexra.support@gmail.com to request manual processing. Direct bank refunds for buyers may be introduced as a standard feature in a future update.
- Sellers receive any funds due to them, where applicable, in their seller wallet and may withdraw them to their registered bank account at any time.
Disputes
If a buyer is not satisfied with their order, they should not confirm delivery.
To allow sufficient time for delivery and seller communication, the dispute option becomes available
20 days after the order was placed. Once available, buyers may submit a dispute for
admin review if the order has not been successfully completed. Once a buyer confirms delivery,
the transaction is considered complete and no dispute can be raised.
6. Enforcement
Nexra may take the following actions against users who violate this AUP:
- Issue a formal warning via email or in-app notification.
- Temporarily suspend account access.
- Freeze seller wallet balances pending investigation.
- Permanently ban the account.
- Report the matter to Nigerian law enforcement where required.
We will generally notify you of enforcement actions unless doing so would compromise an ongoing investigation.
